Status: Endangered
Status cause: Decline reasons unknown. Pesticide use may be a factor, however, disappearance of the species began befoer widespread use of DDT.
Where found: Believed extirpated from all but four states: Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Rhode Island.

Status: Endangered
Status cause: Habitat loss or degradation, and pesticides or other pollutants.
Where found: Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as possible populations in both Indiana and Ohio.

Status: Endangered
Status cause: Rare stream habitat type in association with alteration of the habitat. Also fisheries management, logging, impoundments, bank stabilization, stream pollution and degratation have contributed.
Where found: Michigan and Ontario, Canada.

Status: Endangered
Status cause: Habitat loss or degradation and collection by people.
Where found: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York and wisconsin.

Mitchell's Satyr

Status: Endangered
Status cause: Loss of its habitat (wetland areas known as fens) due to conversion to other land uses, also due to collection by people.
Where found: Indiana and Michigan.
