Quagmire is an interactive role-playing game for grades 5-12. It provides a real-life situation regarding the proposed development of a saltwater marsh. Students take on the roles of various interest groups including government, industry, tourism, agriculture, and environmental organizations to "debate the fate" of a saltwater marsh in front of municipal councillors. This resource is free for teachers in Canada.
