Environmental Careers Organization (ECO) - Internship Program    
ECO & the US Fish & Wildlife Service

Conservation Careers Diversity Internship Program. A summer internship program designed to expose

undergraduates to conservation

& environmental issues. Goal is to increase the number of underrepresented students who will major & work within this field.

Urban Ecology Institute    
UEI uses urban ecology studies to help urban residents understand the natural resources in their communities and take action to protect them. Our mission is to promote the stewardship of healthy urban ecosystems by improving science and civic education for middle and high school youth and by working with urban communities to protect and restore natural resources.

Urban and Community Forestry    
Aids in managing forests and related natural resources in populated areas. The Forest Service provides program leadership and coordination. Program delivery primarily occurs at the State level, through State foresters, key partners, and the Forest Service, which contribute to a Statewide linkage of diverse groups and programs.

Projects Wet, WILD and Learning Tree - New York

PLT in the City    
Project Learning Tree's "community-based program that trains leaders to use PLT materials in an urban context. PLT in the City strengthens the reach of environmental education to traditionally underserved audiences."
